When I was about 6 years old I rolled over in bed and my hand fell down and my finger hit part of a plug in the electical socket and it burnt the hell out of my poor wittle pointer finger that night, and scared the shit out of me.

Smells good, by the way.

I got a good jolt from an electrical socket when I lived in the UK - you can definitely tell the difference between it and the US (where I grew up).

Of course you can. My hairdryer which I took to florida had about as much blow as a sneezing gerbil.

Correct.. and 120 in the US?

I think my dad said we have.. low voltage and high current? Whereas a lightening bolt is high voltage low current.. or, something.
Anyway, if we have low voltage, wtf does the US have?! I have to use US hair straighteners over there cos mine don't even get lukewarm.

Y'all have high voltaga AND high current in the UK, I believe. It's the current that heats things up.

Try doing it here. When I washed the walls of the bathroom at the cattery where I used to work, I got electrocuted through the lightswitch.. twice.

Well, I wanted to see if it did it again.
120V as I recall, well thats what the transformers I use at work state.

Yes and, I added the ? so I wouldn't look as stupid if it was wrong. I was pretty sure I was right.

Yeah getting burned sucks. When i was five a lot my family lived in the same house and all the adults smoked one post their cigareete on an ash tray and left it and was going to come back for it in a minute or so but when i stepped on in barefoot oww cause i was five and oww. That must of hurt more than a cigareete
